7 REASONS TO START BOXING

At least once in a while I wanted to try boxing, so among the good intentions of September I said to myself: "OK, the time has come, let's start!" And since then I haven't stopped yet. With this article I will explain why.

The main reason why the idea of starting boxing really came back to my mind is because I saw celebrities and models put on gloves all over Instagram and, let's face it, who wouldn't want a physicist like Adriana Lima or Gigi Hadid?

In fact, then I discovered that boxing is really a brilliant and fun way to sculpt and tone the whole body! But let's see why point by point:

1. It keeps the heart healthy.

Boxing training increases the speed at which the heart pumps blood, so his muscles become stronger and this reduces the chances of developing cardiovascular complications such as heart attacks and strokes.

2. Makes you super toned.

Boxing is not just about punching, ring training is really complete in many different exercises. A training session involves all the muscles of the body, tones legs, arms, chest, shoulders and back and helps you make your body more resistant.

3. You burn so many calories.

An hour of boxing burns around 350-500 calories depending on the weight and intensity of the training.

4. Makes you stronger.

The constant training of different forms of repeated movement of the whole body provides you with strength and power, especially for arms and legs.

5. It is antistress.

Research shows that boxing helps relieve physical and mental stress with every punch. Boxing can reduce stress hormones like cortisol and increase endorphins, which are the chemicals that help us feel good.

6. Helps you have more confidence in yourself.

Over time, the technique slowly improves and some results begin to appear. It's not just about punching, but pulling them in the right way, knowing how to do it makes you feel like you have an extra chance to protect yourself in case of difficulty.

7. You can do it anywhere.

You don't necessarily need to go to the gym. Even without gloves, at home you can have a rope, a chronometer, simple things to get, and you're done!
