SWEET ALMOND OIL FOR SKIN AND HAIR
Sweet almond oil is obtained by cold pressing the oily seed contained within the fruit of the plant without the use of chemical solvents, and used as it is obtained, pure. It has one of the highest percentages of unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which give the plant its well-known eudermic properties. Furthermore, the presence of vitamins E and B, amino acids, carbohydrates and mineral salts make it an excellent remedy to combat skin aging and contribute to the cell renewal of tissues.
Recommended in all cases where the skin is dry and dehydrated, sweet almond oil should be applied with a light massage preferably after the bath (when the skin is still wet) to ensure that the oil molecules emulsify with those of the water, facilitating its absorption.
Sweet almond oil is famous above all as a natural remedy for stretch marks, especially those due to pregnancy thanks to its elasticizing properties.
For the hair: its nourishing action sees it also a protagonist in the treatment of very dry, frizzy and brittle hair. A 20-30 minute compress on dry hair, before shampooing, will restore softness to the hair.
