DO YOU KNOW PHYTOKERATIN?

The term phytokeratin (or vegetable keratin) refers to wheat proteins, a cosmetic raw material useful for strengthening thin and fragile hair and for nourishing the skin.  Wheat and rice proteins are particularly suitable for brittle and thin hair: they serve to give firmness and body to flat, lifeless and stressed hair. Phytokeratin works in a similar way to henna: it covers the hair with a film that  makes it bigger, full-bodied and resistant.

 This peculiarity makes it suitable also for repairing split points.

 But it is a temporary effect, because as it is known, a broken hair cannot be repaired.

 It also has a moisturizing, volumizing and polishing function.

 It also tends to harden the hair and therefore helps in styling.

Phytokeratin is in the form of a water-soluble odorless powder (it dissolves in water) and can be used in several ways:
  •  To make pre-shampoo wraps;
  •  To be added to shampoo and / or conditioner / mask;
  •  To make styling spray;
  •  To be added to the water of the final rinse;
  •  To make strengthening compresses for the nails;
  •  To be added to the face cream, to make it more moisturizing;
  •  To be added to detergents to dampen the aggressiveness of surfactants.
