IT'S ALWAYS TEA O' CLOCK

Black tea

Pu-erh tea is produced mainly in India and in African countries and has a tendentially strong taste. Drinking this drink regularly helps to maintain good body health, so that in many countries its consumption alternates daily with that of water. The benefits are mainly due to flavonoids, powerful antioxidants. The fluoride present helps prevent plaque and tooth decay. Other valuable properties allow you to increase the mineral density of bones, strengthen the immune system and help counter an annoying cold. Worldwide, black tea is the most common type of tea.

Green tea

This variety is produced in various countries such as China, Japan and India. Drinking this drink regularly allows you to get the great benefits represented by catechins, which in green tea represents 20-40% of dry weight, the most abundant of which is epigallocatechin gallate, which has antioxidant and antimutagenic properties. Green tea is the second most popular tea in the world.

Blue-green or blue tea

Oolong tea is mainly produced in China and Taiwan. This drink is rich in calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, zinc and vitamins, substances that promote weight loss, delay the aging process, strengthen the immune system and counteract the effects of free radicals. Its theine content stimulates attention and brain activity and tannin (which tea frees with a 5-minute infusion) brings a calming effect if the stomach and intestines are irritated. Oolong tea is rich in vitamin C, which with its action helps to strengthen the microcirculation counteracting water retention and cellulite, while the presence of chlorophyll purifies and counteracts the metabolic slowdown. Blue tea is the third most common tea variety in the world.

White tea

It is grown and harvested mainly in China, although in recent times it is also cultivated in Taiwan and Thailand. This drink is particularly rich in antioxidants, so much so as to exceed those present in green tea and black tea. Studies show that white tea makes the blood more fluid, improving the function of the arteries. It helps to reduce blood pressure and keep our body in good health, as it ensures an adequate supply of catechins, antioxidants with the function of reducing LDL cholesterol. People who regularly drink white tea have a more efficient immune system, which ensures greater protection against flu and colds. White tea is not widespread in the world and this makes it very rare and precious.

Yellow tea

Yellow tea is grown and harvested only in some specific areas of China. This drink keeps the beneficial and healthy substances that we got to know when we talked about green tea and white tea, especially with regard to the presence of antioxidants. The Qing dynasty (1644-1911) knew well how valuable yellow tea was, so much so that it was consumed by its people and not exported to foreign countries. This explains why it is not widespread in the West.

Red tea

Red tea is produced exclusively in South Africa. The antioxidant substances present in this drink are equal to those of black tea and green tea. An hour after drinking it, we have in our body an increase in substances that act against damage caused by free radicals, making red tea a natural and extremely healthy drink. In Rooibos there are numerous substances essential for maintaining good health such as: vitamin C, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, and calcium. Unlike other variants of tea, red tea has only small amounts of caffeine and this makes it suitable for those who are sensitive to the latter's side effects. The first imports of Rooibos in the West took place thanks to the intervention of a South African colonist of Russian origin, who started a large-scale production. Red tea is a tea that is appreciated all over the world and is easily available.
